Before accessing the virtual gateway account, all providers must follow the below-mentioned login requirements.
Login requirements for Providers to access Virtual Gateway
- The organization where the provider is working must be registered with the Virtual Gateway.
- The organization administrator must have created the individual provider user account.
- The provider must have a user ID and password.
- A secure web browser must be installed on a secure device to access the provider’s account.
- Good Internet connectivity must be available.
Providers Login Process
Providers can access the Virtual Account with the help of the below steps.
- Visit the Massachusetts state website https://www.mass.gov/.
- Click the Log In link in the top right corner.
- A sub-menu will appear including a few links.
- Click the Virtual Gateway link.
- On the next screen, click the Proceed button to open the Virtual Gateway Login page.
- On the login page, enter the user ID and password of the provider’s account.
- Click the Sign In button to access the provider account.

How to reset the Provider login password?
In order to reset your password, you must remember your username. If you forgot your username also then call the virtual gateway customer service number and recover your username first. You can not reset your password without your username.
- Visit the Provider login page on Virtual Gateway.
- Click the Forgot Password link.
- Enter your Username and on the next screen.
- Press the Submit button.
- Answer the security questions that you have set up with the first login.
- If your answers are correct then you will receive an email including a temporary password.
- Again open the Virtual Gateway provider login page.
- Enter your user ID and temporary password.
- After that, create a new password for your account.
